I. Motion to approve March 9, 2022 Minutes (Smith/Sellers). Unanimous. Motion passed.

II. Motion to approve Financial Report as presented (Smith/Sellers). Unanimous. Motion
passed.

III. Staff Program Reports
1. NRCS- Howard Harrison gave the report (7-EQIP and 5-CSP funded).
2. OSWCD- Robbi Sumner and Audrey Kuipers gave the report.
3. FDACS- Sheila Kitaif gave the Technician report.
4. FSA- No report

IV. Unfinished Business
1. Discussion on SB1078 and how each Supervisor is going to file. No action was taken.
Bill is still unclear.

V. New Business
1. Motion to appoint Douglas Burnham to the Seat 4 vacancy (Sellers/Rutledge).
Unanimous. Motion passed.
2. Upcoming Board Meeting dates were discussed. Supervisor Smith will not be a June,
possibly July meetings.
3. FY 21 Annual Report was not presented.
4. Robbi Sumner shared the content of the Archive Social Subscription for archiving our
Facebook and web page.

Compliance Officer

Okeechobee Soil and Water Conservation District has designated a compliance officer for website disability-related accommodations. The compliance officer has received training in website accessibility and updates the site in accordance with those best practices. Contact our accessibility officer to report an issue.
