Waters Agricultural Laboratories, Inc. (WAL) is working with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Office of Agricultural Water Policy by providing Florida producers soil sample recommendations in compliance with the Best Management Practices guidelines for agricultural commodities. Florida Agricultural Producers must follow BMPs adopted by FDACS to reduce their impact to water quality in the state.
In an effort to make this transition as smooth as possible, WAL asks that all soil samples be submitted with the custom UFL-BMPs submittal form. The submittal form will ensure that producers receive soil fertility recommendations for Nitrogen and Phosphorus following the FDACS guidelines, which can be used during producers BMP assessment and enrollment process.
